Hertel Industrial Sealings acquired by ERIKS
On 25 November 2011 ERIKS NV and Hertel Holding BV have reached agreement on the transfer of the shares of Hertel Industrial Sealings effective as per the same date.
Hertel Industrial Sealings is a specialised, stand alone operation of the Hertel Group. Hertel Industrial Sealings has a strong market position in gaskets in The Netherlands and Belgium.
Over the past period, the Hertel group has strengthened its focus towards industrial project and maintenance services. Within ERIKS, Hertel Industrial Sealings will have better growth opportunities. For ERIKS it offers a good entrance to the German Ruhr area. The take-over will strengthen the existing market positions of both ERIKS and Hertel Industrial Sealings. Hertel Industrial Sealings generates an annual sales of € 23 million with approx. 100 employees.
