Hertel achieve one million man hours without LTI on SPT Project

On the 15th October 2010, Hertel Singapore successfully achieved one million man hours without LTI (lost time incidents) on the SPT (Singapore Parallel Train) Project.

Hertel Singapore strongly believes that having a positive attitude towards the safety factor on this site has contributed greatly to their accomplishment.

“The achievement of this Safety milestone is credited to all involved. The stringent controls in a Brown Field working environment and a high expectation for Safety on the Exxon Mobil SPT site has called for the continuous emphasis and relentless drive by the staff, supervision and workers combined to ensure the safety of all Hertel employees on the site, as well as the end user personnel,” said Kevin Wood, the Hertel Project Manager of SPT Project.

“I am very pleased to announce this achievement and very proud of the dedication shown by all Hertel management, staff and workforce on the SPT site in reaching such a commendable Milestone in Safe Work Practices.

“I am sure that everyone on site will continue with their commitment to safety and we look forward to announcing a contract completion milestone without any LTI.”
