Hertel wins major order for E.ON Germany
Hertel Enning Montagen, Recklinghausen, Germany, has received an important order for installation and supply services for the E.ON power station in Datteln.
Hertel Enning is a 100% daughter company of industrial services company Hertel.
The order has a contract value of ca. Euro 30 Mio and is part of a convoy order, for which Hertel Enning has an option. This option concerns three similar projects for E.ON in Staudinger (Germany), Antwerp (Belgium) and Rotterdam (The Netherlands).
Joost Knoll, CEO Hertel confirms that this order fits the strategy of Hertel. “The increasing demand for energy leads to a good outlook for the power industries. With the take-overs of mechanical and equipment fabrication companies Montagewerk Leipzig, MAG-Grimma, Enning Montagen and CMI Energy Services in the Netherlands, Hertel has expanded its knowledge and range of services for the power market.” This specific know how is bundled in Hertel Power Services, led by Mr. Chris Melsen.
