Quality and expertise the decisive factors for Norit
Hertel has signed a maintenance contract with the Norit factory in Klazienaveen, for the erection of scaffolding, insulation, blasting and conservation at the new construction site.
Hertel and Norit had already been cooperating in a number of individual jobs. Our consistent quality and expertise distinguished us from the competition. Listening to people in the workplace, and encouraging and rewarding input from employees, obviously produces results.
At Norit, Eddie de Veen, the North/East Region branch manager, deals primarily with purchasing manager Johan van der Helm, who is happy to explain why Norit preferred to enter into a working relationship with Hertel. ‘Hertel supplies a wide range of services in a very professional manner. We had already successfully worked with them in the past, so when we were looking for an all-round service provider, it wasn't a difficult choice to make. In terms of price/quality ratios, Hertel is also significantly different from the other providers. At the moment, there are several projects being carried out simultaneously in our factory. In particular, the maintenance of insulation, where defects are detected by means of thermal photography, has proved to be very efficient and has resulted in cost savings. And that is a factor that is particularly important for us.’
