Safety and Quality gets a boost through election
On Thursday 31 March Hertel handed out the first HSEQ 'Employee of the Year Award' for our modular accommodation business. With this award Hertel rewards craftsmen for their outstanding performance on safety and quality.
Hasan Tekgoz (All-round Mechanic) and Frans de Hair (Testing & Commissioning Engineer) were invited to the Hertel’s main Offshore office in Rotterdam and proudly received their prize from Managing Director Peter van Aken.
To emphasise the importance of commitment to quality and safety improvements, the HSEQ department (Health Safety Environment & Quality) introduced this annual election. Managers at all levels were asked to nominate employees for the title 'HSEQ Employee of the Year in 2010'.
Criteria for nomination include collegiality, showing initiative and dealing actively, consciously and in a positive way to safety and quality in the daily activities.
