Change to the Executive Board
The Supervisory Board of Hertel Holding BV and Mr. Joost Knoll, CEO, have decided by mutual agreement for Mr. Knoll to step down as Chief Executive Officer with effect of May 5th 2011.
To assist in a smooth transition Mr. Knoll will be available to provide continued support and advice to the Executive Board until November 2011.
Mr. Knoll has been with Hertel since January 2002, and was appointed CEO in January 2003.
Mr. Paul Broekhuijsen has been appointed interim CEO. Mr. Broekhuijsen has extensive experience in related industries, most recently as member of the Executive Board of TBI Holdings BV.
Since 2003, Hertel’s revenue has grown from €277m to €854m in 2010. Hertel will continue the clear strategy that it has followed to become a globally trusted partner for industrial construction and maintenance services for the Oil & Gas, Offshore, Process and Power industries operating with over 13.000 employees with operations in more than 25 countries.
The Supervisory Board wishes to extend its appreciation to Mr Knoll for his important role in the development of the Hertel Group.

Safe and efficient access services are a core service of Hertel. In 2004, Hertel introduced a new package of access specialisms in the Netherlands, complementary to the long established scaffolding expertise.
Agile is a cable-laying vessel that lays flexible pipelines on the seabed at a depth of two kilometres. Over the coming five years, the ship will be working for Petrobras along the Brazilian coast.
The 24 man accommodation module was awarded to Hertel in January 2009 by Woodgroup Engineering on behalf of BG North Everest Project.
