Paul, 38, is married and lives in the village of Glin, on the banks of the Shannon Estuary in County Limerick, Ireland.
He says: “The best bit of living there is the easy-going lifestyle, with easy access to the water for sailing, boating etc.”

Paul is a Project Manager, currently looking after two sites, at Conoco Phillips Cork and ESB Aghada Cork. Of his job, he says the fulfillment comes from “being able to juggle labour between sites, maintaining profitability, completing projects, friendly and helpful clients”.
According to Paul, the best things about working for Hertel are the ever-expanding client work base, which he says means he is always kept busy, and the hard-working management.
Paul says: “Having started working for Hertel on April 18, 2001, in my current role, some six years ago, the years seem to just pass by. So, in five years’ time who knows what I’ll be doing. Short of a lottery win, it’s a few more years of work for me until retirement.”
He continues: “The photograph is of Glin Castle, taken on a windy day. It overlooks the Shannon Estuary, and I can recommend the food.”
