Hertel wins contract at Pearl GTL plant in Qatar
Hertel has been awarded the contract to provide access and scaffolding services at Shell’s new Pearl gas to liquids plant (GTL) at Ras Laffan, Qatar.
The contract, which is for 5 years, will see Hertel supporting general maintenance, Shutdowns and Minor Project at Pearl. It is expected that the company will employ around 100+ personnel on the site.
Hertel worked at Pearl during its construction phase, providing scaffolding services which were completed with an excellent performance and safety record.
John Potts, Regional Board Director Hertel Middle East, says: “I am delighted that we have the opportunity to continue to work on the Shell GTL Site, which is a landmark facility for the region. It also extends our experience and knowledge of working with Shell as we provide a range of maintenance services to them on a number of their assets across Europe and Asia”
