Safe working recognised with NISO Safety Award

Hertel’s safe working practices have been recognised with a NISO safety award in Ireland.

Hertel was named as the best company in the Mid-West region at the Seventeenth National Irish Safety Organisation’s annual occupational safety awards.

Health, Safety, Environment and Quality officers John Corr and Helen O’Sullivan received the award from Noel Dempsey, Minister for Transport, at a gala dinner held at the Knightbrook Hotel in Trim, Co Meath.

Padraig Somers, Operations Director for the UK & Ireland said: “We are extremely proud of our safety record, and it is the conscientious effort made by the whole workforce to maintain such a high level of health and safety and professionalism that has resulted in this award.”
