Strategic take-overs for Hertel
Industrial services company Hertel recently acquired three companies that will enforce its strategic position, both in a global and market perspective.
Hertel has acquired McGill Services (containerised technical modular solutions) in Middlesbrough, UK, Enning Montagen (engineering, mechanical project & maintenance services) in Recklinghausen, Germany and H.O. Schlüter (piping & steelwork) in Hanerau-Hademarschen, Germany.
Joost Knoll, CEO Hertel: ‘The Enning Montage group and H.O. Schlüter fit in well with Hertel’s strategy to become a global, end-to-end player in the field of engineering, construction, project and maintenance services for the oil & gas, process and power industry, offering our clients total service solutions. It enables us to meet the growing demand from our customers to outsource larger work packages to one professional partner.
The acquisition of McGill enforces our position and geographic footprint in the defence & offshore market. McGill is a preferred supplier to the Royal British Navy and has an outstanding reputation. Their product line for prefab cabins complements our current portfolio, and will increase growth opportunities for both McGill and Hertel’.
