Therefore Hertel has extended its activities around the world through the acquisition of amongst others the Montagewerk Gruppe in Leipzig, Germany, to successfully meet the challenge of the increasing competition and continue to be a leading provider of complete solutions in the chemical and nuclear power industries.
As part of its strategy to strengthen the company brand, Hertel has unified its operations in Germany under the name Hertel. 850 professionals in Germany are now serving our clients clearly as Hertel.
The following company names have been renamed:

from MONTAGEWERK GmbH DRESDEN to Hertel GmbH Dresden
from Hertel Services GmbH to Hertel GmbH Lingen
from Hertel Deutschland Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH to Hertel GmbH Germany
The companies MWL APPARATEBAU GmbH GRIMMA and Hertel Global GmbH will continue to trade under its previous name.

Major order for MAG by GNS
GNS Gesellschaft für Nuklear-Service mbH, Essen (GNS) has recently awarded MWL APPARATEBAU GmbH GRIMMA, Grimma (MAG) with fabrication and supply of 100 transport and storage vessels type CONSTOR for disposal of burnt down fuel rods.
