A new home for Hertel Solutions in the UK
Hertel Solutions held an official opening ceremony to open its new modern facilities at Alton Business Park in Ross on Wye from Llanwarne in September.
Hertel Chief Executive Joost Knoll attended the official opening, and presented local employee Kevin Davies with an award for 25 years of service at Hertel at the evening presentation.
The move by Hertel Solutions is part of efforts to centralise its back-of-house services for clients and provide better facilities for its City & Guilds training scheme.
Hertel Solutions offers specialist water treatment, risk assessment and monitoring services to the public sector, commercial leisure and tourism, retail and food industries. It also designs, installs and replaces water systems.
As a registered City & Guilds training centre, Hertel Solutions will use improved facilities at the new office to provide accredited training in water services engineering.
After 34 years at the current office in Hereford, all 45 staff members are moving to the new office. It is 10 miles away from the current office and has good transport links nationally.
Joost Knoll commented: “The new premises will allow Hertel Solutions to provide better services for our clients. As finding and harnessing talent is incredibly important for Hertel’s future success, I’m pleased that we have been able to update our training facilities as an accredited institution’
Steve Hartley, Managing Director at Hertel Solutions, said: “We are expanding as a business and so it is the right time to make the move to new and larger premises. It will also allow us to centralise our facilities and further improve our service to clients.
“The new office is two-storey and open plan and we have been working hard to create a purpose-built interior for our staff. We are sure the new office facilities will prove popular for trainees and staff members alike.”
The new office will be based in Alton House at Alton Business Park, Alton Road, Ross on Wye, Herefordshire, HR9 5BP.
