AMB-Hertel wins GASCO contract from Hyundai Engineering


Hyundai Engineering has awarded AMB-Hertel a contract to design, supply and erect access scaffolding.

The project is part of the construction of the 1.7 US$ billion Utilities and Offsites project at Abu Dhabi Gas Industries (Gasco) new Integrated Gas Development (IGD).

The contract will run for two years and covers period for the design and erection of approximately 150,000m3 of scaffolding access at the Habshan site.

Hertel’s Regional Managing Director, John Potts said: “We value the opportunity to work for GASCO as one of Hyundai Engineering’s partners on this prestigious project. Hertel has more than 115 years’ experience, which gives us a strong foundation to deliver work safely and efficiently.”

Hertel wins Caspian Sea offshore project


Hertel in Azerbaijan has won a contract from BOS Shelf LLC for the $6bn Chirag Oil project in the Caspian Sea. The contract is for the provision of scaffolding access and specialist coatings for the construction of an 18,000 tonnes eight-legged jacket.

Hertel Tong Hoi reach 750,000 safe manhours


On the 6th December 2010 Hertel Tong Hoi (Singapore) achieved another important Safety milestone by reaching 750,000 safe manhours for 2010. This took place during the completion of two major shutdowns at Dupont-Zytel and Invista in November 2010.
