Local presence in Aberdeen reaps rewards
Since the opening of our offshore facility in Aberdeen in April 2010 Hertel have been awarded the 3 year maintenance contract for the five CNR platforms in the North Sea.
This as a result of our expansion within the Maintenance and Refurbishment sector.
The contract workscope initially included the upgrade and repairs to the accommodation on board the Murchison Platform, this has now developed and extended to include the complete refurbishment and maintenance of the Tiffany, Ninian North, Ninian South and the Ninian Central platforms.
Operations Manager Dave Henderson said, “All works are proceeding well and the fact that our workscope has been developed to include all five of the CNR platforms reflects our client’s appreciation of the excellent standards of work we are achieving”

Safety and Quality gets a boost through election
On Thursday 31 March Hertel handed out the first HSEQ 'Employee of the Year Award' for our modular accommodation business. With this award Hertel rewards craftsmen for their outstanding performance on safety and quality.

Hertel has been awarded the title of 'Contractor of the Month' as part of the HDS project for Shell at the Pernis Refinery, The Netherlands.
