Interim CEO Hertel appointed permanently
The Supervisory Board of Hertel Holding is pleased to announce that Paul Broekhuijsen will continue in the role of CEO of Hertel Holding B.V.
After a period of around three months as interim CEO, Paul (55) accepted the board’s offer to be appointed CEO. Paul has a lot of experience in related industries, recently as a member of the Executive Board at TBI Holdings B.V., and as President of GEA Refrigeration prior to that.
Hertel has grown rapidly over the years, mainly due to its international expansion strategy, and Paul Broekhuijsen will focus initially on consolidating and integrating the company’s acquisitions, after which period the international growth strategy will be continued.

The annual Shell Safety Day was held in June, which saw Hertel participate in events at Shell sites throughout the world. The theme was ‘do the right thing.’
Gulzhanat Muratbai is something of a local celebrity in Kazakstan, known as ‘the young woman with a big heart.’
Hertel has been awarded the contract to design and build the living quarters for Statoil’s new North Sea Valemon Topsides which is being supplied by Samsung Heavy Industries Co., Ltd.
