As a result of a short-term insulation project, DSM’s caprolactam plant in Geleen will soon be saving more than a hundred thousand euros annually by means of the ‘low hanging fruit’ principle. On the instructions of Mr Rob Geelen (Improve Manager CAP Europe), Mr Peter Stulen, manager of Plant Integrity Hertel, performed a TIPCHECK on several dozen measuring points. After a critical assessment of the financial implications, DSM came to the same conclusion. Martin Borsje (Competence Leader Energy, Materials & Waste of DSM Corporate Operations & Responsible Care) has invited Stulen to present his ‘eye-opener’ to DSM’s Global Energy Network.
