None in a million!
Today, 18th April, a special milestone was reached for Hertel Offshore: 1,000,000 hours worked without a LTI. A great achievement.
Earlier today at the Hertel Offshore B193 project site in Malaysia, the team celebrated 300,000 hours without LTI, which contributed to the million hours.
After prayers and speeches by Hertel’s Construction Manager Lando Bax and Project Manager Tanja van Oorschot, as well as Sime Darby Engineering’s Construction Manager Nasir Hal and HSE executive Ahmad Said, five workers were awarded with Best Workers Appreciation Certificate and four of the workers won an iPod through lucky draw.
After the celebration all workers joined in a small breakfast buffet, where t-shirts were presented to all of the team as a token of appreciation.
Congratulations for all workers who participated in this great achievement and a special thanks to our HSE Officer Sanjay Sukumaran and his HSE team on the very successful organisation of this special day.
