Hertel achieves strategic milestone in Qatar

Global services provider Hertel has brought its 115 years of insulation expertise to Qatar with the award of the first insulation contract by Chiyoda-Technip JV, for works on a Qatargas facility.

Hertel stepped foot into Qatar in 2008, when it acquired MSL Group, a well-respected services company mainly active in scaffolding and coating works.

John Potts, board director Hertel Group: “This contract award represents Hertel’s first success in the State of Qatar, for insulation works . The fact that Chiyoda-Technip JV have awarded the contract to Hertel has great significance in terms of the prestige of this project.
