Hertel sponsors Youth Basketball League in Aktau Kazakhstan
The local sport complex ‘Gastar’ in Aktau now has a special basketball class, sponsored by Hertel.

Hertel wins Caspian Sea offshore project
Hertel in Azerbaijan has won a contract from BOS Shelf LLC for the $6bn Chirag Oil project in the Caspian Sea. The contract is for the provision of scaffolding access and specialist coatings for the construction of an 18,000 tonnes eight-legged jacket.

On the 6th December 2010 Hertel Tong Hoi (Singapore) achieved another important Safety milestone by reaching 750,000 safe manhours for 2010. This took place during the completion of two major shutdowns at Dupont-Zytel and Invista in November 2010.
