Hertel achieves goal of Zero Incidents
The 24 man accommodation module was awarded to Hertel in January 2009 by Woodgroup Engineering on behalf of BG North Everest Project.
The scope of work included the design, engineering, fabrication, procurement, project management and installation of the module.
From design to insulation the turnkey project has taken 15 months and 130,000 man hours to complete. Throughout this time the project management and operation teams have performed to an exceptional standard and successfully achieved Hertel’s goal of zero accidents and incidents.
All works have been carried out in the Dawson’s Wharf facility in Teesside and have been coordinated through our UK office in Wynyard. Jon Rokk, Managing Director for Hertel’s accommodation modules business in the UK said, “This project will further enhance our experience and reinforce our position in the offshore industry. The safety record achieved on this project demonstrates our ability to deliver quality products and services that are performed to the most stringent safety standards providing clients with peace of mind.”
