Hertel fortifies its market position in Germany
Global industrial services company Hertel has recently acquired industrial scaffolding specialist S&P Gerüstbau GmbH, Marl, Germany.
The acquisition of S&P supports Hertel’s strategy to expand its foothold in Germany and advance its knowhow and scalable services. Hertel Germany offers a wide range of maintenance & turnaround construction services and international projects. The SIP services (Scaffolding/Insulation/Painting) form an important pillar of Hertel’s core expertise, increasingly supporting the mechanical activities in projects and maintenance work.

Over the past years Hertel has seen considerable growth in Germany after the expansion of their product portfolio with mechanical contracting services. In 2006 Hertel acquired MWL Group, a general mechanical contractor (Leipzig), followed by the acquisition Enning Montagen (Recklinghausen, 2008), a company specializing in mechanical construction and maintenance services. Today Hertel Germany offers its clients mechanical project and maintenance services, combined with a wide range of onsite support services for the (petro) chemical, process and power industries.

Success in Singapore brings expansion
