LANXESS chooses Hertel in Singapore
Hertel has been awarded the scaffolding and insulation services contract at the new €200m butyl rubber plant currently being built for Lanxess, the speciality chemical company.
Working with UTOC Engineering, who will be performing mechanical works, Hertel is involved in the construction of the Butyl and Halo process units of the plant, which is located on Jurong Island.
Simon Kramer, Hertel’s Managing Director Asia Pacific, says: “We are proud to have been chosen to deliver this prestigious project for Lanxess and we will be integrating our global and local expertise to to work alongside UTOC.”
Hertel has worked on Jurong Island providing a full range of access, insulation and mechanical services to other projects. Safety is a number one priority with Hertel and UTOC sharing the goal of zero incidents alongside a commitment to quality to meet the Lanxess project’s stringent requirements.
