Hertel's Peter Capone invited to join safety advisory committee
Peter Capone, HSEC Manager for Hertel Modern in Australia has been invited to join the IAC (IFAP’s Advisory Council).
IFAP is the Industrial Foundation for Accident Prevention, a not for profit organisation founded in 1962 to provide leadership in the advancement of safety and health for the benefit of Western Australian workplaces.
Its council, the IAC, was formed in December 2010 and comprises of a group of highly respected, high level Occupational, Health & Safety (OHS) decision makers with significant safety and industry experience. They participate in networking events to discuss current issues and share experiences and information relating to their industry sector to ensure that the organisations, products and services are appropriate to meet industry demands, and for IFAP to keep informed of “over the horizon” developments.
Peter: “IFAP is an important organisation in developing and protecting safety standards in industry in Australia. I am honoured to be invited to be part of this Group.”
Michael de Klerk, Hertel’s HSE Director adds: “This is a great achievement, a big honour indeed, both for Peter and for Hertel as organisation.”
