Two million safe hours
Hertel Technical Services, Hertel’s Offshore business in the UK, have achieved an outstanding safety milestone of 2,000,000 hours without a Lost Time Incident.
This achievement spans across five years and demonstrates our commitment to safe working practices.
Safety is one of our core principles and an integral part of our business. Therefore the achievement of this impressive milestone is an excellent indication that the steps we have taken are enabling us to reach our Goal of Zero.
Jon Rokk, HTS Managing Director has said, “This milestone could not have been achieved without an enormous amount of hard work from all of our employees and this significant achievement is something we can all be very proud of.
“As we look forward to one of our busiest periods, I am confident that with our uncompromising approach to safety we can achieve our next milestone of 3,000,000 hours LTI free.”
Projects that contributed towards the total include North Everest, CVF, Type 45, Buzzard, Britannia, Sea Dragon, Ensco, Cormorant Alpha, Regalia, CNR, West Burton.
